You will support high-quality early childhood programs across our University centres, grounded in evidence-based pedagogy. 

You will collaborate with experienced colleagues to create inclusive, play-based learning that strengthens every child’s wellbeing. 

You will gain varied experience supporting different age groups, rooms, and services within a child-safe organisation. 

What you will deliver:  

Plan, implement, and evaluate play-based learning programs aligned with EYLF, VEYLDF, and service philosophies. 

Document children’s learning, development, and wellbeing to inform individual planning and continuous programme improvement. 

Maintain safe, inclusive environments through active supervision, risk management, and adherence to all regulatory requirements. 

Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues to support belonging and collaborative practice. 

Collaborate with room leaders and teams to reflect on practice and support service quality improvement. 

You may be a great fit if you:  

Hold an approved Early Childhood degree and current WWCC or VIT registration. 

Demonstrate sound knowledge of NQF, National Law and Regulations, and Victorian Child Safe Standards. 

Bring proven experience delivering high-quality education and care using EYLF, VEYLDF, and evidence-based pedagogies. 

Create inclusive, stimulating environments that promote children’s agency, participation, and strong sense of belonging. Apply diligent risk management, active supervision, and child-safe practices in dynamic early childhood settings. 

Adapt flexibly across rooms, age groups, and teams while maintaining professional, collaborative conduct.

Student and Scholarly Services supports students and staff from first enquiry through to graduation and beyond. Early Childhood Education Services operates three high-quality University children’s centres, delivering evidence-based programmes for infants to preschoolers. You will join a collaborative, research-informed team committed to child safety, inclusion, and continuous quality improvement.
