Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role as a Human Resource Officer based in Kampala, Uganda. In this role, you will handle HR operations, including implementing HR policies, managing employee relations, and ensuring compliance with labor laws. Key responsibilities involve developing job descriptions, supporting recruitment processes, and maintaining efficient communication between HR and employees.

Qualifications

• Proven 4 - 7 years of experience in a similar environment
• Strong knowledge of Uganda labor laws and compliance regulations
• Proficiency in developing and implementing HR Policies and Job Descriptions
• Strong knowledge in Employee Relations, including conflict resolution and employee engagement
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for fostering productive workplace relationships
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• HR Certification is an added advantage.
