Terang AI is an AI-powered education and event technology company developed by PT Terang Inovasi Indonesia. We help individuals, educational institutions, corporations, and communities accelerate learning, talent development, and event management through AI-powered solutions.

In addition to personalized learning and exam preparation, Terang AI is building an AI-enabled event management ecosystem that helps organizations manage registrations, participant engagement, submissions, judging processes, and event operations at scale. Our partners include universities, student organizations, corporations, and government institutions across Indonesia.

As a Strategy & Operations Intern, you will work directly with the CEO and leadership team to drive business growth through strategic partnerships, go-to-market execution, operational excellence, and ecosystem development. This role is ideal for individuals who are interested in startups, business strategy, partnerships, and high-impact execution.

Key Responsibilities

Partnerships & Business Development

• Research and identify potential partnership opportunities with universities, student organizations, communities, corporations, and government institutions.
• Build and maintain a partnership pipeline and outreach tracker.
• Assist in outreach, communication, and relationship management with potential partners.
• Support the development of proposals, partnership decks, and collaboration initiatives.
• Conduct market and competitor research to identify growth opportunities.

Event Ecosystem & GTM Execution

• Build and maintain a database of student organizations, university events, competitions, conferences, and community events across Indonesia.
• Create and manage an annual event calendar to identify collaboration and sponsorship opportunities.
• Support execution of Terang AI's go-to-market initiatives and strategic campaigns.
• Assist in identifying and managing event partnership opportunities.

Operations & Strategic Projects

• Support client operations and internal business processes.
• Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and strategic recommendations.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and operational efficiency.
• Support ad-hoc strategic projects directly assigned by the CEO.

Brand & Ecosystem Growth

• Support Terang AI's LinkedIn and ecosystem engagement initiatives.
• Track and monitor key growth, partnership, and operational metrics.
• Identify opportunities to increase Terang AI's visibility within the education, technology, and startup ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Management, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Public Policy, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
• Strong interest in startups, business strategy, partnerships, and operations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.
• Comfortable conducting research and synthesizing findings into actionable insights.
• Proactive, resourceful, and able to work independently.
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience in student organizations, event management, consulting clubs, business competitions, startups, or partnership-related roles is a plus.

• Contributed directly to Terang AI's growth, operations, and strategic projects.
• Developed practical experience in business strategy, partnerships, and startup execution.
