We are seeking a Project Manager – Cyber Defense (Antimalware Program) to lead and coordinate a strategic initiative focused on evaluating and deploying next-generation antimalware solutions. The role involves managing all phases of the project lifecycle, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and in alignment with cybersecurity best practices. The Project Manager will collaborate closely with technical experts, architects, vendors, and multiple business entities, acting as the key point of contact for stakeholders. Responsibilities include overseeing project planning, governance, risk management, and communication, as well as ensuring a smooth transition of the service to Business as Usual (BAU) operations. This position requires strong project management expertise, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to manage complex cybersecurity projects in an international environment.
Technical Skills
Proven track record as a Project Manager leading IT or cybersecurity-related projects, ideally in multinational environments. Experience managing end-to-end project lifecycles, from planning and governance to implementation and BAU transition. Hands-on experience coordinating with technical experts, architects, procurement teams, and external vendors. Solid background in working with cross-functional teams and managing diverse stakeholders at different organizational levels. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams, prioritize tasks, and deliver within tight deadlines. Previous exposure to cybersecurity programs (e.g., antimalware, endpoint security, infrastructure security) is highly desirable.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the antimalware program from initiation to completion, ensuring delivery on time, on scope, and on budget.
- Define, maintain, and execute the project plan, communication plan, and governance framework.
- Organize and chair steering committees and project committees, preparing packs and minutes.
- Coordinate with technical experts, architects, procurement, vendors, and business entities to ensure alignment and smooth delivery.
- Present the proposed solution to entities and manage its deployment and implementation across the defined scope.
- Oversee the transition of services to the Business as Usual (BAU) team, securing sign-off and operational readiness.
- Ensure all mandatory project documentation (ToR, risk logs, change logs, financials, KPIs, deliverables list, etc.) is accurate, up to date, and compliant.
- Monitor risks, dependencies, and issues, providing mitigation strategies and escalation when required.
- Communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, providing clear updates on goals, progress, and challenges.
- Drive continuous improvement in processes, governance, and reporting practices to increase efficiency.
