Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced PeopleSoft Technical Lead to drive the delivery, maintenance, and evolution of PeopleSoft Financials systems within an agile squad environment. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in PeopleSoft Financials 9.2 or higher, with strong technical skills across PeopleCode, PeopleTools, Integration Broker, REST APIs, and SQL.
Experience
Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience working with PeopleSoft Financials 9.2 or higher, including core modules such as Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing, General Ledger (GL), Cash Management (CM), Project Costing (PC), and Commitment Control (CA).
Proven track record in designing, developing, and maintaining PeopleSoft applications using PeopleCode, PeopleTools (version 8.60 or above), Application Designer, and Process Scheduler.
Extensive experience managing complex integrations using Integration Broker, REST APIs, and API documentation with Swagger.
In-depth knowledge of SQL and relational databases, with experience writing optimized queries and managing database objects.
Experience leading PeopleSoft system migrations, upgrades, and administration in production environments.
Strong background in Test Driven Development (TDD) and maintaining live applications with high availability.
Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban), coaching members and managing delivery pipelines.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure architectural compliance, security standards, and quality assurance.
Proven skills in incident response, code review, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the technical delivery of PeopleSoft solutions within an agile squad, ensuring timely and high-quality outputs.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts and Product Owners to translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.
- Design, review, and validate technical architectures and solution designs to maintain system integrity and performance.
- Ensure all technical developments comply with established architectural guidelines, security standards, and best practices.
- Manage and prioritize the technical backlog in collaboration with the Product Owner.
- Promote and facilitate Agile rituals (Scrum/Kanban) within the team to enhance collaboration and delivery effectiveness.
- Mentor and support technical team members, providing guidance on development practices and problem resolution.
- Conduct code reviews, manage incident response, and participate in hands-on technical tasks such as development and testing when necessary.
- Monitor team velocity and delivery quality, identifying and implementing continuous improvement actions to optimize performance.
- Act as Data Custodian for the PeopleSoft application, ensuring compliance with data governance policies.
- Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to gather inputs and resolve cross-team dependencies.
