Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior PeopleSoft System Administrator to operate, upgrade, and maintain our PeopleSoft applications (including Financials, Project Costing, Contracts, and Cash Management modules). This person will lead efforts to architect, implement, enhance, and support PeopleSoft systems in a dynamic, fast-paced enterprise environment.
The administrator will be part of a cross-functional agile squad that includes IT Product Owners, Tech Leads, Developers, and DBAs. Responsibilities include full lifecycle management of PeopleSoft environments—design, deployment, testing, monitoring, and support.
Experience
10+ years of hands-on experience in PeopleSoft system administration, including installation, configuration, support, troubleshooting, and upgrades.
Proven experience working with PeopleSoft Financials 9.2 or higher and PeopleTools 8.60 or higher.
Strong background in managing PeopleSoft architecture components such as:
Application Server (Tuxedo)
Web Server (WebLogic)
Process Scheduler
Integration Broker
Experience in applying Oracle-recommended patches (Java, Tuxedo, WebLogic).
Proficiency in SQR, PeopleCode, Application Engine, nVision, Data Mover, and Application Designer.
Expertise in SQL Server 2019 or later, including writing, debugging, and tuning SQL queries.
Experience performing environment refreshes, object/code migrations, and managing change control processes.
Knowledge of application security, including SSO setup, SSL certificate management, and user roles/permissions.
Track record of working in multi-instance, multi-network enterprise environments.
Familiarity with agile methodologies and working within Scrum teams.
Experience supporting production environments, including incident resolution, root cause analysis, and performance tuning.
Previous involvement in disaster recovery planning and support.

Job Responsibilities
- Operate, maintain, and upgrade PeopleSoft applications, including Financials, Project Costing, Contracts, and Cash Management modules.
- Serve as a technical lead in the design, implementation, and support of PeopleSoft environments across development, testing, and production.
- Manage incident, change, and problem tickets to ensure system availability and stability.
- Monitor application and server performance; take proactive measures to ensure system health.
- Apply patches and perform system upgrades for Java, Tuxedo, WebLogic, and PeopleTools as per Oracle recommendations.
- Collaborate with developers, DBAs, and other technical teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Build, configure, and troubleshoot PeopleSoft components: Application Server, Web Server, Process Scheduler, and Integration Broker.
- Conduct environment refreshes, data migrations, and support deployments.
- Debug and optimize SQRs, PeopleCode, Application Engine programs, and SQL statements.
- Implement and maintain application security, including roles, permissions, SSO, and SSL certificates.
- Provide post-deployment support, assist with testing, and deliver technical training as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation following company standards.
- Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution.
- Lead or contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across systems and processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system-level performance issues, including database locks, failed processes, and connectivity problems.
- Ensure compliance with SLAs and organizational governance practices.
