Job Summary
The Senior Systems Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting advanced network infrastructures in Data Center and Cloud environments. They will work on digital transformation and continuous improvement projects, delivering robust, secure, and efficient technical solutions that align business needs with industry best practices.
Key responsibilities include managing and evolving network products and services, close collaboration with security and technology teams, and automating processes using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Python. Additionally, the role involves facilitating communication between technical teams and vendors to ensure service quality and continuity.
The ideal candidate will have advanced experience with technologies such as Cisco ACI, VMware NSX-T, and network security products (firewalls, VPNs, SASE), along with deep knowledge of network design, segmentation, and IT infrastructure solutions. They should be capable of working in international and matrix organizations with a strategic focus on innovation and cost optimization.
Experience
Required Experience:
Proven solid experience in designing, implementing, and managing network infrastructures in Data Center and Cloud environments.
Advanced expertise in Cisco ACI and VMware NSX-T technologies.
Hands-on experience with network and process automation using Terraform, Ansible, and Python.
Deep knowledge of network security products and solutions, including firewalls (Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Cisco, Algosec), VPN, SASE, and web gateways (McAfee).
Experience in designing and managing LAN, WAN, SDWAN, MPLS networks, as well as segmentation technologies and identity services.
Demonstrated history of working within international and matrix organizations, collaborating with multiple teams and vendors.
Experience managing network and infrastructure transformation, standardization, and continuous improvement projects.
Ability to analyze and translate technical and business requirements into efficient and cost-effective technology solutions.
Familiarity with current market trends and best practices in network technologies and IT infrastructure.
Job Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructures in Data Center and Cloud environments, ensuring robust and secure solutions.
- Collaborate closely with security, technology teams, and other departments to align solutions with business strategies.
- Manage the evolution and continuous improvement of network products and services, anticipating future needs and technology trends.
- Lead network and operations automation processes using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Python to optimize efficiency and reduce errors.
- Facilitate communication and coordination between internal technical teams, vendors, and strategic partners to ensure service quality and continuity.
- Ensure Quality of Service (QoS) and provide expert support in resolving complex network and security incidents.
- Evaluate and select network technologies and solutions considering cost, benefits, and alignment with corporate strategy.
- Stay updated on trends, new technologies, and market best practices to recommend applicable innovations.
- Document architectures, processes, and configurations, ensuring alignment with corporate and regulatory standards.
- Participate in infrastructure transformation and standardization projects, providing technical leadership and expertise.
