Job Title: Client Partner (Account Executive)
Location: Onsite, La Mercy, South Africa
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, full-time
Salary: R45 000 - R65 000 CTC per month

My client, a global marketing agency with offices in South Africa, is seeking an experienced Client Partner (Account Executive) to join their team. This role is pivotal in building and maintaining trusted, long-term client relationships, driving business growth, and delivering exceptional service.
The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment, adeptly managing creative projects and acting as the key liaison between clients and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution and measurable success.
Key Responsibilities
• Drive new business opportunities, both with new clients and horizontally across existing accounts.
• Manage creative projects from initial briefing through to final delivery, serving as the main point of contact for a group of dedicated clients.
• Clearly define project scopes, manage timelines, and ensure effective communication among clients, strategy teams, and design teams.
• Provide regular project status updates to clients and internal teams, including scope and timeline adjustments, to ensure alignment and set accurate expectations.
• Monitor project performance against client objectives, delivering optimisation recommendations as needed.
• Prepare and present ad hoc reports and analyses to internal stakeholders.
• Support pre-forecasting of client requirements to aid in planning.
• Build and sustain deep client relationships at all organisational levels.
• Achieve specified revenue and profit targets, ensuring delivery against projections.
• Oversee the project development and delivery lifecycle across creative and technical supply chains, both internally and externally.
• Promote a culture of accountability, discipline, and pride within the organisation to uphold industry leadership.
• Ensure meticulous organisation and effective utilisation of company resources.
Requirements & Skills
Experience:
• 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in shopper and brand marketing.
• Proven sales track record in a business-to-business environment.
• Demonstrated experience managing projects and meeting deadlines.
Skills:
• Exceptional communication skills, with experience in client-facing roles.
• Strong customer relationship management and analysis capabilities.
• Financial planning and strategic thinking proficiency.
• Organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks and projects.
• Logical thinker with excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Friendly, dynamic, and professional demeanor.
• Proficient in relevant software and administratively strong.
Qualifications:
• National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a related field.
