This full-time, permanent role based in Rotherham offers a competitive salary of £45,000 - £50,000, plus a company car. The position is ideal for individuals residing in the Doncaster/Sheffield area, although candidates slightly East of this region will also be considered. The role involves daily travel to multiple sites, making it perfect for motivated individuals with a clean driving licence and a willingness to be on the move.

Candidates must possess: 

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a Health and Safety role, with a solid background in the construction industry 
  • Comprehensive knowledge of health and safety legislation, particularly CDM
  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate
  • TECH IOSH certification and a clear, relatable training record are mandatory.
  • Good IT skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Full, clean driving licence


Responsibilities include: 

  • Ensuring health and safety compliance across diverse construction sites 
  • Representing clients as the safety authority in meetings
  • Acting as Principal Designer where needed 
  • Conducting site inspections, risk assessments, and accident investigations 
  • Developing and implementing health and safety policies 
  • Excellent communication skills are crucial for report writing, phone, and in-person interactions.
