The Business Development Manager, MENA is a senior executive responsible for unlocking new market opportunities and acquiring customers for the company. The owner of this role will align with the growth goals of the company and be adept with market trends and the required profitability of the company's revenue streams.
Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field (MBA or equivalent preferred).
12+ years of progressive leadership experience, with a proven track record of driving business growth and profitability in competitive markets.
Ability to interpret market trends, customer behaviour, and competitive landscapes.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead efforts to explore new markets to enrich meeting the set revenue goals.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for revenue growth and market expansion.
- Manage hired skilled sales professionals and provide regular training.
- Segment customers based on behaviour, demographics, or needs and map their journey for effective reach and reduction of friction points.
- Implement a customer relationship management (CRM) system, sales analytics software, and collaboration tools for better leads tracking.
- Build and mentor high-performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
