Job Summary
                    Our client, a leading Civil Engineering and Infrastructure specialist, is seeking a Site Engineer to join their team in Rickmansworth.
Responsibilities:
- Promote and maintain a strong health, safety, and environmental culture in line with company policies and legal requirements.
 - Ensure all work is delivered safely and in full compliance with environmental and company procedures.
 - Uphold quality standards by delivering defect-free work and promoting best practices.
 - Identify and implement value engineering opportunities to improve efficiency and outcomes.
 - Establish and manage survey control and setting out of works according to contract drawings.
 - Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with organisational and legal documentation requirements.
 - Resolve technical issues or unforeseen site challenges efficiently.
 - Prepare procurement schedules and coordinate with procurement teams to ensure adequate site resources.
 - Produce and manage ITPs, Task Briefings, two-week lookaheads, site diaries, and allocation sheets in coordination with the Site Agent.
 
Required Experiences:
- Proven experience in setting out on civil engineering projects.
 - Strong knowledge of construction methods, health and safety, and relevant regulations.
 - Proficient in using robotic total stations and EDM instruments.
 - Degree or HNC (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering.
 - Excellent communication skills with a proactive, results-driven attitude.
 - Experience using AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (desirable).
 - Knowledge or experience in temporary works coordination (desirable).
 - Valid CSCS card (desirable).
 - Training in cable avoidance, first aid, and NEBOSH or IOSH certification (desirable).
