Job Summary
                    Our client, a leading Civil Engineering and Infrastructure specialist, is seeking a Site Agent to join their team in Rickmansworth.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee successful delivery of multiple Civils and Water sector projects, ensuring high-quality, defect-free results in line with safety, environmental, and company standards.
 - Lead site teams, including Sub Agents, Engineers, and Foremen, to deliver work efficiently and safely.
 - Develop and implement key project documents such as Project Plans, RAMS, ITPs, and Waste Management Plans.
 - Prepare and manage construction programmes, two-week lookaheads, and procurement schedules to ensure resources and timelines are met.
 - Manage project budgets using company cost plans, monitor financial performance, and identify opportunities for cost savings and value engineering.
 - Maintain accurate site diaries and records while driving commercial performance through proactive cost management.
 - Represent the company professionally with clients, the public, and official bodies to maintain strong working relationships.
 - Ensure all deliverables meet client requirements and satisfaction.
 - Produce accurate monthly reports for both internal use and clients.
 - Lead regular site meetings to ensure effective communication and project coordination.
 
Required Experience:
- Experience delivering large-diameter clean water pressure pipelines, including connection details, commissioning, and quality assurance on site.
 - Strong understanding of streetworks, ITPs, and on-site quality control procedures.
 - Experience implementing and coordinating temporary works.
 - Proven ability to manage health, safety, and environmental compliance on site, including issuing permits to dig and service avoidance.
 - Skilled in managing NEC contracts (EWN/CE), cost control, forecasting, programming, and subcontractor management.
 - Experience managing design inputs to ensure constructability and value engineering.
 - Proven stakeholder and client management experience in a regulated civil engineering environment.
 - Ability to lead and motivate site teams, including direct reports and delivery workforce.
 - Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with Primavera P6 (desirable).
 - Strong understanding of CDM regulations, design management, programme and risk management, and cost/value reporting.
 - Good knowledge of specifications, testing regimes, and civil engineering standards.
 - Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and company values.
 
Qualifications/Certifications:
- SMSTS (or IOSH Managing Safely) – Required
 - CSCS – Mandatory
 - NRSWA – Required
 - Temporary Works Coordinator/Supervisor – Required
 - EUSR National Water Hygiene, Service Avoidance, and Confined Space Training – Desirable
 - Degree or HNC in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) – Required
