Our client, a leading Civil Engineering and Infrastructure specialist, is seeking a Site Manager to join their team in Walsall.

- Experience in Civil and Water sectors as well as an appreciation of Process Engineering. - Considerable experience in Civil Engineering/ Water, Utilities and FRC works as a Site Agent for a contractor, delivering projects in a highly regulated environment. - Working knowledge of contract conditions, CDM regulations, Design Management, Programme and Risk Management and cost control, including forecasting, actual cost, and value reporting. - Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Site Manager role Heavy civils background is essential (e.g. drainage, structures, earthworks, RC works) - Experience within the water sector is preferred (clean or waste water) Confident managing both client interface and delivery teams Familiar with working under NEC contract environments. - Degree/HNC in Civil Engineering, or equivalent. - Good knowledge of specifications and testing regimes relevant to general civil engineering. - Experience managing subcontractors value greater than £1m. - Experience in producing, reviewing, and implementing Safe Systems of Work for task-specific activities. - Experience in producing look-ahead programmes, implementing and analysing. - Knowledge of JCT and NEC forms of contract. - CSCS (Site Manager) - SMSTS or IOSH Managing Safely - (Supervisor or Manager level) NVQ Level 4 or above in Construction Site Supervision or Management. - Temporary Works Coordinator - Excellent communication, people, and team management skills - Ability to challenge designs and resolve problems to a conclusion. - Ability to demonstrate the right behaviours and motivate and lead the team in line with the Company culture, ensuring high standards of compliance. - Proficient in using Microsoft, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Desirable: - NRSWA - First Aid - Confined Space Training - Valid UK driving licence
