Job Summary
Our Client, a leading engineering consultancy, is looking for an Associate Director in Civil Pipeline Engineering to join their team in Epsom or Peterborough.
In this role, you will play a vital part in every aspect of the Pipeline Service Line on transformational programmes for critical UK infrastructure, with exciting opportunities to work on iconic engineering projects at home and abroad.
You will have the chance to lead and direct teams to deliver high-quality technical design work, adhering to relevant design standards and codes.
Experience
- Chartered Civil Engineer.
- Experience in owning design delivery, including multidisciplinary design on large scale Pipeline projects.
- Comprehensive knowledge of specialist pipeline design across all materials, jointing and installation methods.
- Knowledgeable of current UK and international pipeline design standards.
Job Responsibilities
- Own and direct teams who undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, and to high-quality levels.
- Defining briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals.
- Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.
- Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
- Setting quality assurance standards in design.
- Grow, develop and manage pipeline engineering capability within the practice.
