Job Summary
Our Client, a leading engineering consultancy, is looking for a Hydraulic Engineer to join their team in Epsom.
In this role, you will play a vital part in every aspect of fluid mechanics on transformational programmes for critical UK infrastructure.
Experience
- Civil / Mechanical Engineering Degree, working towards Chartered status.
- Experience in design delivery, including multidisciplinary design.
- Knowledge of hydraulic design of water / wastewater treatment plant design, pipeline design, surge analysis, and familiarity with current UK design standards and working practices.
- Experience in using industry standard software such as HADES, VARISIM, WANDA.
Job Responsibilities
- Work in a team to undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, and to high-quality levels.
- Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals.
- Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.
- Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
- Adhere to quality assurance standards in design.
