Role Overview
Tailwind is seeking a high-potential Business Operations Associate to serve as a strategic "force multiplier" for our leadership team. This is an apprentice-style role for a proactive individual who wants to learn the inner workings of an international HR and technology consulting firm. You will support leadership in scaling operations, identifying US-based business opportunities, and elevating our brand's footprint.
Key Responsibilities
1. Digital Presence & Thought Leadership
LinkedIn Management: Draft and schedule high-impact content for leadership’s LinkedIn profiles to establish Tailwind as a voice in modern HR and the "Social Revolution" of work.
Content Research: Monitor industry trends (US labor market shifts, HR technology) to provide research and "talking points" for articles, newsletters, and white papers.
2. Market & Bidding Support
US Public Sector Research: Monitor Virginia-based procurement portals (e.g., eVA) and county websites to identify relevant RFP (Request for Proposal) opportunities in career development and HR consulting.
Proposal Coordination: Assist in organizing compliance documents, certifications, and templates required for bidding on state and local government contracts.
3. Operational & Client Coordination
Administrative Liaison: Assist in professional outreach regarding timesheet collection, payment status updates, and general project coordination.
SOP Development: Help document internal workflows and turn manual tasks into "Standard Operating Procedures" to increase firm-wide efficiency.
4. Executive Support
Provide high-level administrative support, including preparing briefing materials for meetings and ensuring follow-up tasks are tracked and completed.

- Native-Level English Writing: You must be able to write with the nuance and professionalism required for a US-based executive audience.
- Research Skills: Ability to navigate complex government portals and synthesize niche HR trends into actionable summaries.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable learning and managing CRM, project management, and AI tools quickly.
- Ownership Mindset: You don't just complete tasks; you look for ways to improve the underlying process.
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, English, or HR is preferred.
