Oxygen 8 is working with a well-established, boutique medical education provider operating across the UK & EU. They're looking for a Senior Director of Educational Development to drive new business and manage a growing portfolio of pharmaceutical and life science clients across the UK & Europe


The role


  • Take ownership of a defined sales territory and build a diversified client portfolio in the UK & European pharma market
  • Sell a suite of certified medical education programmes including audio, video, live and virtual formats
  • Develop compelling proposals and presentations that create profitable, long-term client relationships
  • Work closely with a collaborative, high-performing internal team to ensure coverage of key therapy areas
  • Actively scan the market for new opportunities and stay ahead of trends in medical education


What we're looking for:


  • Minimum five years' experience in medical education with a strong industry network and live relationships.
  • Working knowledge of the UK/EU medical education environment, including accreditation processes (highly desirable)
  • A genuine entrepreneurial mindset, someone who can spot an opportunity and move quickly to develop it
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the commercial acumen to match
  • Comfortable working independently in a deadline-driven, high-volume environment
