About the role


Oxygen 8 Recruitment is working exclusively with a well-funded, high-growth digital health business to appoint a Business Development Manger focused on pharmaceutical partnerships.


Our client operates a market-leading platform that connects global pharmaceutical brands with a large, verified community of healthcare professionals. They're looking for someone who has spent time on the agency or media side selling into pharma and who is ready to move into a role where the proposition is stronger, the earning potential is higher, and the growth trajectory is real.


The world's leading pharmaceutical companies use this platform to engage, understand, and communicate with healthcare professionals at scale. The relationships you've built in pharma are directly transferable and immediately valuable here.


You'll be well suited if you have:


  • 2-5 years of B2B sales experience selling into pharmaceutical companies from a publisher, MedComms agency, or healthcare advertising or communications background
  • Active relationships with decision-makers in brand, medical affairs, market access, or commercial at pharma companies contacts you've genuinely worked with
  • A consultative, value-led approach to selling you're comfortable navigating complex deals and multiple stakeholders rather than relying on volume or discounting
  • A solid grasp of pharma marketing promotional and non-promotional including familiarity with MLR, med-ed, market research, and brand campaign planning
  • Ambition to grow this business is scaling internationally and promotes from within. This isn't a sideways move; it's a step up.
