The Opportunity


On behalf of a premier global clinical decision-support platform, Oxygen 8 Recruitment is looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager to join their London-based team.


With a long-standing reputation for excellence, the brand is currently expanding its footprint. This role is designed for a commercial professional who can leverage the brand’s established heritage to drive growth and manage high-value partnerships within the UK healthcare landscape.


The Role


Working on a hybrid basis from the London hub, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining commercial opportunities within the healthcare market. You will act as the bridge between the brand’s innovative digital solutions and key stakeholders in the pharmaceutical and med-tech sectors.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Take full responsibility for sales-based activity, including digital advertising, targeted email campaigns, and bespoke medical education initiatives.
  • Identify and pursue lead generation opportunities with healthcare agencies, device manufacturers, and pharmaceutical companies.
  • Manage the end-to-end client journey, from initial proposal and creative pitching to campaign delivery and post-campaign reporting.
  • Work alongside the leadership team to identify emerging market trends and help shape the strategy for new product offerings.
  • Liaise with internal scientific and project management teams to ensure all client expectations are met with precision and clinical integrity.  


The Ideal Candidate


We are seeking a commercially minded individual with a passion for the healthcare sector and a proven ability to sell digital solutions.


Experience & Skills:


  • Background in healthcare or pharmaceutical sales, with a solid understanding of the UK medical market.
  • Experience selling digital inventory, integrated media packages, or online educational platforms.
  • Exceptional presentation skills and the ability to articulate complex value propositions to senior marketing executives.
  • A self-starter who can manage competing priorities and "own" their sales pipeline.
  • Ability to represent the company at industry conferences and events, acting as a trusted ambassador for the brand.
