Job Summary
Our client is looking for skilled bricklayers in Australia, who will be responsible for constructing and repairing walls, foundations, and other structures using bricks, blocks, and other masonry materials, following plans and specifications while ensuring safety and quality.
Experience
At least 3 years post qualification experience3
Job Responsibilities
- Construction & Repair: Build and repair walls, partitions, arches, and other structures using bricks, blocks, and other masonry materials.
- Plan Interpretation: Interpret and follow detailed architectural plans and specifications.
- Material Handling: Prepare and lay bricks, stone, concrete blocks, and other masonry materials.
- Mortar Application: Use mortar to bind bricks and blocks in various rows, designs, or shapes.
- Cutting and Shaping: Cut and shape bricks, blocks, or stones to fit irregular spaces.
- Alignment and Accuracy: Ensure vertical and horizontal alignment and accuracy in bricklaying.
- Quality Control: Inspect work for quality and identify areas needing repair or correction.
