Digital Analytics Lead
Location: Bristol (Hybrid)
Salary: £85,000–£95,000 + benefits + up to 15% bonus
About the role
We're looking for a Digital Analytics Lead to head up a talented team of digital analysts and shape how we understand, measure and improve customer experience across our digital and offline channels. You'll own our measurement strategy end to end — from tagging and data quality through to dashboards, self-service reporting and deep-dive analysis — and make sure analytics sits at the heart of how the business makes decisions.
This is a leadership role with real influence: you'll partner closely with product, marketing, digital and engineering teams, and play a central part in a wider data function that's investing heavily in experimentation, personalisation and optimisation.
What you'll be doing
- Leading and developing a team of digital analysts, setting the standard for quality, coaching and career growth
- Owning digital measurement strategy — event design, tagging frameworks, data quality and governance across web and app
- Building dashboards and self-service data products that let teams find their own answers, backed by deep-dive analysis when it matters
- Partnering with product, marketing, digital and engineering teams to embed analytics into delivery and experimentation
- Overseeing analytics tooling and implementation across platforms such as Snowflake, Amplitude and Qualtrics
- Bringing together quantitative and qualitative data (surveys, feedback, session replay) for a rounded view of the customer
- Keeping the team, and the wider business, ahead of the curve on analytics tools, techniques and privacy-aware measurement
What we're looking for
- Proven experience leading a digital analytics team, with a track record of building capability and stakeholder trust
- Strong hands-on and strategic experience across SQL, Python, and modern web/app analytics platforms (e.g. Amplitude), plus cloud data platforms such as Snowflake
- Deep expertise in event-based measurement, tracking plans and tagging strategy
- Ability to turn complex analysis into clear, commercially relevant recommendations — including for conversion rate optimisation
- Experience delivering dashboards and self-service analytics that balance flexibility with governance
- A natural communicator who can bring data to life for audiences at every level
- Understanding of data privacy, consent and governance within a regulated environment
What's on offer
- £85,000–£95,000 base salary
- Up to 15% annual bonus
- Comprehensive benefits package
- Hybrid working from our Bristol office
