Back End Development Engineer – Contract (12 months)
London | Onsite - Global Big 4/FAANG
We’re hiring an experienced Back End Engineer to work on large‑scale, cloud‑native edge and gateway platforms handling high‑throughput, security‑critical traffic. This is a Senior Back End Engineer role focused on keeping a prominent Global Video platform fast, reliable, and secure at massive scale, requiring strong experience with distributed systems, AWS, and production environments.
What you’ll do
- Build and operate backend services and AWS infrastructure
- Improve availability, performance, and operational efficiency
- Take part in on‑call and incident response
