Systems Engineer – Enterprise IoT & Infrastructure (L2–L3)

We are hiring an experienced Systems Engineer with strong hands‑on capability across enterprise IoT/OT infrastructure, servers, networking, and secure integrations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys blending technical depth with practical implementation and operational engineering.This is not a desktop support or traditional Windows admin role.We are looking for someone operating at L2 to early L3 level, comfortable working across multiple technology layers to support large‑scale IoT deployments in a high‑security enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and implement enterprise IoT/OT device infrastructure, including configuration, maintenance, patching, and troubleshooting
• Translate architectural designs into operational, technical implementations
• Perform patch testing, deployments, and validation across devices and infrastructure
• Troubleshoot issues spanning device, network, server, and SaaS platform layers
• Work with APIs, SaaS platforms, and hybrid cloud environments to enable secure integrations
• Handle physical devices as part of refurbishment, testing, and rollout activities
• Collaborate with network, security, platform teams, and vendors
• Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures
• Ensure compliance with enterprise security frameworks (authentication, authorization, encryption)
• Support migrations, platform rollouts, and IoT lifecycle projects

Required Technical Skills

• Strong experience with Windows and Linux server engineering
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (routing, subnets, DNS, DHCP, L3 concepts)
• Hands‑on knowledge of IoT/OT devices, hardware configuration, and troubleshooting
• Working familiarity with APIs, system integrations, and enterprise environments
• Experience with SaaS platforms and authentication protocols (SAML, OIDC)
• Understanding of firewalls, proxies, load balancers, and secure enterprise architectures
• Proven background delivering L2 / early L3 engineering support
• Strong awareness of security fundamentals, including encryption and identity controls

Experience & Profile

• 4–8+ years in Systems Engineering, Infrastructure Support, or IoT/OT environments
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting ability across multiple layers
• Able to operate independently while coordinating with global teams
• Comfortable working in high‑security, production enterprise environments
• Hands‑on device experience is required for London‑based roles
• Structured and rigorous approach to documentation, change control, and security
