Scrum Master / Release Train Engineer
Location: London - 3 days - Hybrid - London
We are looking for a Scrum Master with strong Agile delivery experience to support our Agile Release Train and development squads. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys enabling high‑performing teams, driving delivery discipline, and fostering continuous improvement across a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate PI Planning and all ART events, ensuring alignment and smooth Program Increment execution.
- Lead and run Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand‑ups, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Partner with Product Owners to refine and prioritise backlogs, ensuring clarity and value-driven delivery.
- Track sprint and ART progress, proactively remove impediments, and support predictable delivery outcomes.
- Coach teams on Lean‑Agile practices, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate onsite/offshore teams and manage cross-team dependencies.
- Maintain and report key metrics including velocity, burndown, risks, and delivery status.
- Drive transparent communication across business, engineering, and leadership stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience
- Demonstrated experience as a Scrum Master managing one or more development squads.
- Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum frameworks, including estimation and planning techniques.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict‑resolution skills.
- Hands‑on experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar.
- Certifications such as CSM or PSM I/II are beneficial but not mandatory.
- Good to have: familiarity with APIs or OutSystems.
