Taking ownership of existing deals to develop the business/relation
Reaching out to customers and collect feedback for material offered
Propose trade ideas, structure added value to suppliers and customers
Monitoring of sales transactions
Managing and controlling of P&L statements for each physical shipment
Assisting Senior Traders in daily business
Monitoring of commercial & financial exposure
Managing shipment schedule
Various reports and analysisQualifications and Competencies4+ years’ experience in commodities at a trading desk preferably in the metals and/or concentrates industry
Excellent understanding of operations and supply chain related processes relevant to sales in commodities
some understanding of LME futures market and the link between physical sales and LME position management
Excellent verbal and written command of English. Any other language is of great advantage (e.g. Spanish, Mandarin, Russian)
Strong communication skills
Strong demonstrated interpersonal skills
Strong team player with good problem solving skills and ability to prioritize work load to meet deadlines
Self-motivated with an ability to absorb and interpret information quickly and thrive under pressure
