Sector HR & Recruitment is recruiting for an established engineering and technology company seeking a Hardware Engineer to design smart electrical and control solutions for industrial installations.

This is an opportunity to work with EPLAN and AutoCAD on projects from concept through to realisation, while working alongside multidisciplinary engineering teams and international clients.

THE ROLE

As a Hardware Engineer, you will be responsible for translating user requirements into high-quality technical designs and supporting projects from the initial concept through to completion.

Your responsibilities will include:

🔹 Designing main and sub-distribution panels and PLC control panels

🔹 Selecting appropriate electrical components and materials

🔹 Developing and maintaining technical documentation and project files

🔹 Implementing applicable electrical and engineering standards within EPLAN

🔹 Working closely with engineering colleagues, customers and suppliers

🔹 Monitoring project schedules, budgets and technical deliverables

🔹 Providing technical input throughout the project lifecycle

REQUIREMENTS

We are looking for an experienced engineer who can work independently, take ownership of projects and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary environment.

You will need:

🔹 Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation or a related field

🔹 Proven experience as a Hardware Engineer / Electrical Design Engineer

🔹 Practical experience with EPLAN P8 and AutoCAD

🔹 Knowledge of relevant standards, including NEN 1010, Machinery Directive and ATEX

🔹 Ability to translate technical requirements into practical designs

🔹 Strong technical documentation and communication skills

🔹 Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team

🔹 Experience with 3D design will be advantageous

WHAT'S ON OFFER?

💶 Salary: €4,000 – €5,300 gross per month

⏱️ Overtime compensation

🏖️ 25 vacation days + 13 ADV days
