Job Summary

The continuity and availability of these systems are essential to ensuring product quality and delivery reliability.

As an Automation Technician, you play a key role in maintaining and optimizing the production environment. You ensure that data, control systems, and measurement & control technology are configured in such a way that colleagues can rely on a stable and efficient operation. In addition, you actively contribute to troubleshooting and continuously improving automation processes.


What will you do?

In this versatile technical role, you are the specialist in industrial automation.

Your responsibilities include:

Operational tasks

•Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on control systems and process installations

•Analyzing, locating, and resolving faults in PLC/SCADA environments, sensors, and control loops

•Supervising and executing major repairs and technical modificationsAutomation & process improvement

•Applying control, measurement, and process technology to continuously monitor, optimize, and improve processes

•Further developing automation architecture based on data, trends, and process analyses

•Identifying deviations and actively contributing to a safe and reliable working environment

•Implementing modifications to machines and control systems, including documentation and configuration management


Collaboration and projects

•Working closely with Technical Services and Production teams to ensure optimal performance of existing installations

•Supporting the commissioning of new machines, production lines, and automation solutions

•Contributing ideas to improvement projects in maintenance, digitalization, and automation


What do you bring?

Profile and experience

•Minimum MBO-4 level (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, or Mechatronics

•Proven experience with industrial control systems, measurement & control technology, and process automation

•Experience with PLC/SCADA systems; knowledge of Siemens S7 / TIA Portal is a strong advantage

•Practical knowledge of conveying systems, rotating equipment, pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical engineering

•Strong technical insight and analytical skills
