Role Purpose

To support valuation, optimisation, and decision-support engagements through the development and maintenance of highly dynamic financial models. The role focuses on model structure, analytical flexibility, and scenario analysis, translating operational and technical inputs into clear financial outcomes. Project scopes vary and may evolve, requiring adaptability and strong analytical judgement.


Experience & Qualifications

Degree in finance, economics, engineering, or a related discipline

Strong experience in Excel-based financial modelling

Mining, energy, infrastructure, or consulting experience preferred

Strong quantitative and analytical capability

Experience working with dynamic, assumption-driven financial models

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within consulting teams

Strong written and verbal communication skills


Duties & Responsibilities

Developing and maintaining highly dynamic financial models to support valuation, optimisation, and investment decision-making

Translating operational, technical, and cost inputs into structured financial analyses and scenarios

Supporting scenario, sensitivity, and trade-off analysis to inform client decisions

Working closely with CAs, OPEX modellers, and technical specialists to ensure financial models are logical, transparent, and fit-for-purpose

Leading the preparation of executive-ready outputs and presentations

Supporting internal model development, refinement, and capability building
