Senior Account Executive – Financial & Professional Services
London (Hybrid, 3+ days in office)
£80,000–£100,000 + Uncapped Double OTE + Equity
A well-established UK data and intelligence platform - trusted by hundreds of organisations including major financial institutions, law firms, VCs and Government - is looking for a Lead AE to close its highest-value deals in the financial and professional services market.
The company has spent over a decade building proprietary technology and a specialist in-house team to solve a data problem that affects every firm working with growth businesses. With a strong UK presence and an active international expansion underway, this is a business with real momentum and a proven commercial track record.
The Role
You'll be running sophisticated, consultative sales cycles with partners and senior decision-makers at the UK's leading firms, closing £100k+ contracts. Most of your pipeline will be self-generated through strategic, personalised outbound - and you'll have a proven MEDDIC-led methodology and a fully developed tech stack to support you.
Day to day:
- Closing complex, high-value deals: £100k+ p/a contracts with senior decision-makers, won through consultative sales cycles
- Outbound pipeline generation: 80%+ of your pipeline from your own strategic, personalised outreach to senior buyers at law firms, accountancies, banks, corporate finance houses and wealth managers
- Running highly personalised demos tailored to each firm's specific use case
- Contributing to senior leadership discussions on pricing, positioning and market strategy
What they're looking for:
- 8+ years of relevant experience - as a fee earner or in BD/business services at a law firm, accountancy, bank, corporate finance house or wealth manager; OR selling SaaS, data or advisory solutions into these firms.
- The ideal candidate combines both.
- Consistent track record closing £100k+ p/a deals in complex, consultative environments
- Strong outbound pedigree — you build your own pipeline* Sharp, detail-oriented, emotionally intelligent — you prepare thoroughly and sell credibly to senior buyers
