As a Proofreader, you will be responsible for reviewing and editing various documents to ensure accuracy and consistency. This role requires a keen eye for detail and excellent grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills. You will work closely with our team of writers, editors, and designers to ensure that all materials are error-free and meet our high standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review and edit a variety of documents, including reports, proposals, presentations, and marketing materials

- Check for spelling, grammar, and punctuation errors

- Ensure consistency in formatting, style, and tone

- Verify facts, statistics, and references

- Collaborate with writers, editors, and designers to make necessary changes

- Follow company style guidelines and ensure documents adhere to industry standards

- Meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality work

- Provide feedback and suggestions for improvement to the content team

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, or a related field

- Proven experience as a proofreader or editor

- Excellent command of the English language

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat

- Familiarity with AP Style and Chicago Manual of Style

- Strong time management and organizational skills

- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines

- Previous experience in a consulting or professional services firm is a plus
