RecQuest are working with a highly regarded, established law firm to recruit a Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join their growing Southampton team. This is a brilliant opportunity to step into a role where you’ll be trusted with your own caseload, supported by experienced colleagues, and encouraged to develop both professionally and commercially.


You’ll join a collaborative litigation team handling a varied caseload of commercial disputes, with a strong focus on property-related litigation. The role offers excellent exposure, autonomy and the chance to make a genuine impact, both for clients and within the firm.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Managing your own caseload of commercial litigation matters
  • Advising clients clearly on strategy, progress and costs
  • Handling a range of disputes, including property-related matters
  • Drafting documents and progressing cases efficiently
  • Using modern case management systems
  • Attending team meetings and contributing to continuous improvement
  • Supporting business development and firm growth
  • Working towards individual and team fee targets
  • Maintaining high professional and compliance standards
