Deliver a consistently high standard of professional service to clients.
Apply the relevant professional conduct rules to all accounting and financial matters in accordance with the Solicitors Accounts Rules.
Demonstrate strong understanding and application of the organisation’s core risk management and quality procedures, including file management, conflict checks, file opening and closure, anti‑bribery and corruption measures, and information security.
Maintain well‑organised, compliant files that meet both Law Society standards and internal office requirements.
Draft clear, accurate letters of advice, emails, file notes, and legally effective documents that reflect clients’ instructions.
Review and progress files regularly, ensuring all relevant parties are kept informed of developments.
Seek guidance when matters fall outside personal technical knowledge or expertise.
Manage and prioritise personal workload effectively to meet agreed targets.
Use the organisation’s IT systems appropriately and efficiently.
Report any file errors or issues immediately.
Delegate work to support staff appropriately, ensuring tasks are clearly set, supervised, and reviewed.
Carefully check all typed documents before they are issued.
Assist with clients of other fee earners to ensure continuity of service across the department.
Maintain positive and constructive working relationships with colleagues, clients, and external parties.
Contribute to the marketing and promotion of the department and the wider organisation, raising visibility and supporting business development.
Meet the marketing and networking expectations associated with the role.
Build and maintain professional networks through both work‑related and personal initiatives.
