RecQuest is supporting a well‑established and highly regarded regional law firm in their search for an experienced Litigation Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (2+ PQE). This is a fantastic opportunity to join a respected disputes team handling a broad and engaging caseload.

The Role.

You’ll be part of a dynamic litigation department, working on a wide variety of matters including:

• Complex commercial and property disputes

• A broad range of contentious issues across multiple sectors

• Direct client contact and early responsibility

Your day‑to‑day responsibilities will include:

• Managing your own caseload from instruction through to resolution

• Providing clear, pragmatic advice on merits, risks, and likely outcomes

• Drafting pleadings, witness statements, and high‑quality correspondence

• Negotiating with opposing parties

• Representing clients at court where required

• Maintaining accurate records and billing

• Keeping up to date with legal developments and sharing insights with the team

• Collaborating closely with colleagues to deliver seamless client service

About You.

The ideal candidate will bring both technical strength and a client‑focused approach. You should have:

• 2+ years’ PQE as a Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive in litigation

• Strong dispute resolution experience and commercial awareness

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• The ability to explain complex legal issues clearly and confidently

• A genuine commitment to exceptional client care

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities

• Sound judgement and a pragmatic, solutions‑driven mindset

• A positive, collaborative attitude
