RecQuest is working on behalf of an ambitious law firm looking to expand its Residential Conveyancing team and seeking a skilled Residential Conveyancing Solicitor to join them in Petersfield. They are searching for a motivated individual with 5+ years PQE, experienced in property transactions, who can manage and grow an existing caseload.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handling all aspects of residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, transfers of equity, and remortgages.
• Drafting and reviewing contracts, leases, and other legal documents related to property transactions.
• Conducting title checks, searches, and ensuring compliance with Land Registry requirements.
• Advising clients on the legal aspects of buying and selling residential properties.
• Liaising with estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other parties involved in the conveyancing process.
• Managing completions and post-completion formalities such as SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications.

What They Offer:

• Competitive salary range: £50,000 – £70,000
• Full-time, permanent role
• Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:00

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive (minimum 5 years PQE) with solid experience in Residential Conveyancing matters.
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to independently manage a busy caseload.
• Excellent interpersonal and client relationship skills.
• A proactive, business-minded approach to marketing and developing new client relationships.
• Previous experience using case management systems.
