Company Summary
Kenny Solicitors focuses on Residential Conveyancing (fixed-fee property transactions including sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity), as well as Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, and Probate.
The firm also handles Commercial Conveyancing for business property matters
Their emphasis is on a simple, clear approach and “plain English” communication with clients
Locations: The firm is based in Chichester with additional local offices in Eastergate, Arundel, Fareham, and Emsworth
The Eastergate office serves as the head office (conveyancing-focused), while the Chichester branch (at Old Market House) covers both conveyancing and private client services
Other offices support conveyancing in their areas, often by appointment (many Kenny Solicitors fee-earners work remotely, meeting clients in the Chichester office as needed)
Leadership: The firm is family-run. It was founded by Louise Kenny, a licensed conveyancer who followed in her mother’s footsteps
Louise is the Practice Director and “Director in Supervision” for the head office, having stepped back from day-to-day conveyancing to focus on running the business
Under Louise’s leadership, the firm prides itself on personal client care and responsiveness (e.g. returning calls and being approachable)
Each branch office has an appointed supervising director or senior solicitor (for example, Susanne Spurling oversees Arundel, Emma Grundy oversees Chichester)
Size & Profile: Established in 2009 (incorporated 1 September 2009), Kenny Solicitors has grown into a small-to-medium firm with a team of over a dozen lawyers (including solicitors, licensed conveyancers, and legal executives) supported by a comparable number of legal secretaries and assistants. It operates as a Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) licensed body (ABS) since June 2023, which has allowed non-solicitor professionals (like licensed conveyancers) to hold leadership roles. The firm’s culture is described as friendly and “human,” reflecting its family-run roots.
Clients’ reviews consistently mention the approachability and personal touch of the team. (Notably, Kenny Solicitors has a perfect 5.0/5 client rating on ReviewSolicitors across hundreds of reviews.)
