Job Summary
RecQuest is working on behalf of an ambitious law firm looking to expand its Private Client team and seeking a Private Client Solicitor to join them in Haslemere. They are searching for a motivated individual with 3+ years PQE, experienced in wills, trusts, and probate, who can manage and grow an existing caseload.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive (minimum 3 years PQE) with experience in Private Client matters.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to independently manage a busy caseload.
- Excellent interpersonal and client relationship skills.
- A proactive, business-minded approach to marketing and developing new client relationships.
- Previous experience using case management systems.

Job Responsibilities
- Drafting Wills, including complex arrangements involving trusts.
- Preparing Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs) for property & financial affairs and health & welfare.
- Drafting Deeds of Variation for post-death estate planning.
- Managing Probate applications and the administration of deceased estates.
- Handling Deputyship applications to the Court of Protection for individuals lacking capacity.
- Providing advice on Inheritance Tax and developing succession planning strategies.
Job Benefits
- Competitive salary range: £45,000 – £60,000
- Full-time, permanent role
- Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:00
