Raintree Children & Family Services is urgently hiring for a (part-time) Custodial Janitor to clean the agency’s offices and assist with light maintenance duties. This job consists of maintaining the overall cleanliness of the agency.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have verifiable experience to indicate a working knowledge of cleaning procedures, substances, materials, skills necessary to perform duties, and the ability to complete tasks efficiently in a timely manner. 
• Possess an advanced skill level in sanitizing and disinfecting buildings, offices, and/or residences.
• Ability to successfully pass background checks and drug screenings.
• Verifiable experience/ references to indicate a working knowledge of procedures, materials, and skills necessary to perform duties efficiently and properly. 

Job duties consist of:

• Performing visual inspection, detailed cleaning, and disinfection in and around buildings on the property.
• Cleaning of indoor/outdoor spaces, light maintenance, trash removal/ disposal, sweeping, dusting, mopping, disinfecting, and sanitizing the kitchen, restrooms, hallways, and offices. 
• Assist the maintenance worker in performing minor repairs when needed.
• Routinely conducts preventative maintenance checks and reports deficiencies, potential hazards, or needed repairs on the inspection checklist.
• Keep an accurate log of pending and completed tasks. 

Paid twice-monthly (15th & end of month)

Background screening required

Physical requirements: Must be able to lift 25+ pounds and climb a ladder

Availability: Weekdays - 3-4 times weekly, needed for 4-7 hours per day 

Pay: $13.00 per hour, 15-28 hours weekly
