Raintree Children & Family Services is currently seeking Part-Time Direct Care Workers for our adolescent youth group home.

Ideal candidates should:

Available openings: Part-time (24-30 hours weekly)

Hiring for all shifts:

• Days [8hrs] (7a-3p)
• Evenings [6-8hrs]  (3p-11p)
• Nights [8hrs]  (11p-7a)

Primary duties include:

• Responsibly caring for, monitoring, and positively engaging with residents.
• Working cooperatively with staff to maintain the agency group home operation and supervise residents.
• Assists residents with independent living plans, performance goals, daily living, coordinating activities, and completing household duties. Additional tasks include cleaning the group home, preparing meals, documenting incidents, and reporting maintenance needs.
• Transporting program participants when needed.
• Supervising teens.
• Ensuring the safety and security of group home residents to try to prevent runaways, sex trafficking, and other detrimental behaviors.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Candidates must have a High school diploma or GED.
• Experience working with youth preferred.
• Possess a valid driver's license (without blemish in past 3 yrs) and have reliable transportation.
• Must be able to successfully pass state, local, and federal criminal background checks, motor vehicle records checks, drug screening, and employment verification.
• Three valid professional references required.

Must be over 21 years of age.

• Life Skills Coaching and Mentoring teens
• Behavior Management, Crisis Intervention, and De-escalation
• Incident Reporting
• Passenger transportation required. Ability to drive small vans/ SUVs for resident transport, when needed
• Supervising Teen residents
