Our Client

This contract role supports a conversational AI initiative focused on enterprise voice automation. The project uses Amelia, integrated with contact center platforms such as Amazon Connect and Genesys Cloud. Engineers in this role design, build, and deploy voicebots and AI-driven workflows that handle real customer and internal service interactions.


The Work That Drives This Project

·       Design and develop conversational AI solutions that support voice-based service interactions across enterprise systems.

·       Build voicebots that interpret natural speech through speech-to-text pipelines and respond with human-like text-to-speech outputs.

·       Develop conversational logic using NLP techniques, including intent recognition, entity extraction, and contextual dialogue handling.

·       Integrate conversational platforms with enterprise infrastructure through REST, SOAP, XML APIs, backend services, and webhook frameworks.

·       Connect voicebot workflows with operational systems, including IT service management platforms, authentication services, and enterprise directories.

·       Deliver scalable conversational experiences supporting customer service operations and internal IT automation.

·       Contribute to architecture decisions that support long-term reliability, security, and performance of AI-driven voice systems.


Experience That Translates Immediately

·       Hands-on development experience with the Amelia conversational AI platform remains essential for this role.

·       Strong background in voicebot engineering including speech recognition pipelines and conversational response design.

·       Working knowledge of natural language processing including intent modeling and entity detection.

·       Integration experience connecting conversational platforms with enterprise systems using REST, SOAP, XML, and webhook services.

·       Experience integrating conversational platforms with tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, contact center technologies, authentication systems, and enterprise directories.·       Development experience using Python, JavaScript, React JS, and JSON-based data handling.

·       Experience working within ITSM or ServiceDesk automation environments.

·       Seven or more years of experience working with Genesys inbound voice technologies in enterprise environments.

·       Six to eight years of broader IT engineering experience delivering production systems.

·       A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent professional experience can substitute.

Competitive hourly pay for mid-senior level contract engineers.

Hourly range: $50–$65 per hour.

Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s experience and technical alignment and is subject to the employer’s discretion.

This role is onsite and open only to candidates currently located within commuting distance of one of the following locations:

San Antonio, TX | Plano, TX | Tampa, FL | Colorado Springs, CO | Chesapeake, VA | Phoenix, AZ

Relocation assistance and visa sponsorship are not available for this engagement.
