Important Fit Considerations
This role is best suited for individuals who are comfortable operating in a hands-on, execution-focused environment within a growing GBS unit. Success requires building net-new partner pipeline from the ground up and owning opportunities through to close.
This role may not be a fit for candidates who:
- Prefer operating primarily at a large BU, regional, or global leadership level rather than executing directly.
- Are seeking an account-inheritance model with an existing book of business.
- Focus mainly on strategy, partner governance, or program oversight rather than active partner-led selling.
- Are not comfortable with a hunter-style role that requires independent pipeline creation, rapid execution, and direct deal ownership.
- Expect mature processes, extensive enablement, or established GenAI sales motion on day one.
The first 12 months are heavily weighted toward execution speed, pipeline creation, and revenue conversion for Generative AI services. Candidates who thrive in ambiguity, move quickly, and are comfortable building structure while selling will be best positioned for success.
