Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Proofreader to ensure our content is accurate, polished, and error-free. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of grammar, spelling, and style guidelines, along with experience proofreading content in the health and nutrition space. Familiarity with compliant copywriting and brand claims is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and proofread content at multiple stages, ensuring accuracy and alignment with brand voice and style

Ensure all documentation is error-free, including correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation

Verify accuracy of numerical and technical content, including measurements and terminology

Proofread and fact-check a variety of materials, including blogs and other written resources

Identify and escalate quality or compliance concerns prior to publication

Collaborate with content editors and managers by providing clear, constructive feedback

Qualifications & Required Skills:

Strong command of grammar, spelling, punctuation, and style, with the ability to adapt to a brand’s tone

Exceptional attention to detail

Ability to manage high volumes of work under tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment

Understanding of SEO best practices (keywords, formatting, hashtags)
