Responsibilities Include:

  • HVAC & Environmental Leadership: Inspect, troubleshoot, service, and repair residential and light commercial HVAC units, ensuring strict adherence to environmental regulations and refrigerant recovery standards.
  • Specialized Machinery & Commercial Repair: Diagnose, maintain, and repair complex industrial kitchen equipment, commercial appliances, and mechanical systems.
  • Precision Technical Installation & Assembly: Unpack, structurally mount, and calibrate flat-screen televisions and audio-visual components. Build, align, and safety-test complex mechanical products, specifically heavy exercise equipment (treadmills, ellipticals, home gyms).
  • General Property Maintenance: Execute a wide variety of in-home and out-of-home tasks involving light plumbing, mechanical adjustments, structural hardware replacement, and general property fixes.
  • Emergency Response Leadership: Anchor and participate in a scheduled emergency on-call rotation to handle urgent after-hours service requests.
  • Maintain flexible weekend availability as dictated by operational demand and critical client service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Route Logistics & Team Mentorship: Utilize our company digital dispatch platform to manage work orders, log structural data, and track inventory.
  • Act as a technical escalation point and field mentor for junior technicians on complex diagnostics.

Position Requirements & Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of verified, hands-on experience in field maintenance, industrial appliance service, HVAC/R repair, or multi-site property infrastructure management.
  • Active trade certification or license in HVAC/R valid in the state of New Jersey.
  • EPA Universal Certification (Section 608) for refrigerant handling.
  • Active Electrical License or Journeyman Electrical License is highly ideal and preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of electrical systems, low-voltage wiring, blueprints, schematics, mechanical assemblies, and specialized diagnostic testing equipment.

  • Comfortable working from ladders, scaffolding, at elevated heights, or within confined, restricted spaces (such as crawlspaces and utility closets).
  • Capacity to remain standing, kneeling, crouching, or walking for long durations of a standard shift, both indoors and outdoors in variable weather.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Employer-sponsored medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Competitive base salary with an annual performance bonus and matching 401(k) retirement plan.
  • Generous Paid Time Off (PTO), dedicated sick leave, paid parental leave, and observed federal holidays.
  • Opportunities for technical certifications, bootcamps, and attendance at regional tech conferences.
