Interior Designer

Work Location: Business Bay Office-Based

Salary: AED 12,000–20,000 per month

Insurance: Grade B Medical Insurance

Our client is looking for an experienced and creative Interior Designer / Interior Design Team Lead to join a growing interior design company. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of designers, managing client relationships, overseeing design projects, and ensuring projects are delivered to a high professional standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of 3–8 interior designers and design staff.
• Oversee multiple interior design projects from concept development through to completion.
• Coordinate directly with clients to understand their requirements, preferences, budgets, and expectations.
• Manage client presentations, design meetings, feedback, revisions, and approvals.
• Review and manage designers' work to ensure high-quality design standards.
• Allocate projects and workloads across the design team according to deadlines and priorities.
• Mentor, guide, and develop junior and mid-level designers.
• Ensure design concepts, drawings, mood boards, material selections, 3D visuals, and presentations meet company standards.
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders where required.
• Monitor project timelines and ensure design deliverables are completed on schedule.
• Resolve design and client-related issues efficiently and professionally.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Support business development by contributing to client presentations, proposals, and design pitches.
• Ensure projects remain aligned with approved budgets, specifications, and client expectations.
• Stay up to date with current interior design trends, materials, finishes, and industry developments.

What They Require:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• 2+ years of professional interior design experience, preferably with experience in the UAE or any other country.
• Proven experience managing or leading a team of designers.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating residential, commercial, hospitality, or luxury interior projects.
• Excellent knowledge of interior design principles, materials, finishes, furniture, and spatial planning.
• Strong client-facing and presentation skills.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of design quality.
