We are seeking an experienced DV Cleared Senior Software Engineer to join a collaborative Agile development team, designing and delivering secure, scalable software solutions for mission-critical environments.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will:

Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software applications.

Build backend systems, APIs, data processing pipelines, and modern web applications.

Participate throughout the complete software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and ongoing support.

Develop secure, scalable, and maintainable software using modern engineering principles.

Work within Agile delivery teams using Scrum and Kanban methodologies.

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and DevOps best practices.

Deploy applications into AWS, Azure, and secure private cloud environments.

Collaborate closely with technical teams, architects, customers, and stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions.

Contribute to continuous improvement and mentor junior engineers where appropriate.

Required Skills & Experience

We're looking for professionals with experience in:

Current UK Developed Vetting (DV) Clearance (essential).

Strong software engineering and software architecture experience.

Full software development lifecycle delivery.

Backend and/or full-stack software development.

Modern programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.

RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.

GitLab, source control, and CI/CD pipelines.

Docker, Kubernetes, virtualisation, and containerisation.

Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar).

Cloud platforms including AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.

Agile software development (Scrum/Kanban).

Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

A passion for continuous learning and adopting emerging technologies.
