CNC Machinist (5 Axis Milling) needed to start work immediately in Leeds and Rotherham South Yorkshire
We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist to join a modern, precision engineering environment, working with advanced 5-axis CNC milling technology.
This is not a standard operator role.You will play a key part in programming, setting, and optimising machining processes, producing complex, high-precision components for demanding industries such as aerospace, motorsport, and advanced manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities
-Program, set, and operate 5-axis CNC milling machines
-Create and optimise programs using CAM software or G-code
-Refine toolpaths, speeds, and feeds to maximise efficiency and accuracy
-Select appropriate tooling and machining strategies
-Work to tight tolerances on complex, precision components
-Carry out in-process and final inspection using precision measurement tools
-Troubleshoot machining issues and implement process improvements
-Support efficient, reliable production, including automated or lights-out machining
What We’re Looking For:
Proven hands-on experience with 5-axis CNC milling
Strong ability in CNC programming (CAM systems or G-code editing)
Experience setting and operating machines independently
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
Experience machining precision components to tight tolerances
Familiarity with materials such as aluminium, stainless steel, titanium, or similar alloys
Experience with DMG, Matsuura, or Brother machines
Familiarity with Fusion 360, SolidCAM, Hypermill, or similar CAM software
Experience with palletised or automated machining systems
Background in aerospace, motorsport, or high-spec manufacturing
