About the role
Our client connects pharmaceutical and biotechnology organisations with a global, highly engaged community of physicians, supported by proprietary data and healthcare insights. This is a high-impact individual contributor role focused on driving new business growth and developing long-term strategic client relationships
Key responsibilities
- Develop strategic account plans that uncover growth opportunities within existing and prospective clients.
- Lead consultative sales conversations that identify client challenges and align tailored solutions to their objectives.
- Create and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, business cases, and RFP responses.
- Partner with internal subject matter experts to design customised solutions.
- Manage opportunities through the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification to negotiation, contracting, and close.
- Maintain a robust pipeline and consistently achieve or exceed revenue targets.
- Represent the business at relevant industry conferences and congresses.
About you
- Demonstrable business development or sales experience within healthcare, pharmaceutical, medical communications, healthcare media, healthcare technology, market research, or healthcare consulting.
- A proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
- The ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders and navigate complex pharmaceutical organisations.
- Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- An entrepreneurial, self-motivated approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms, ideally Salesforce.
