Job Summary
Job Title: Compliance Manager
Location: West Byfleet, KT14
Salary: £48,000
Work Pattern: Full time (Part Time can be considered for the right person)
Job Description
Your role will see you lead the company’s CQC regulatory framework and ensure full compliance with all CQC registration requirements. This is crucial for meeting legal and regulatory standards, maintaining high quality, and achieving operational excellence. Your success will be measured by passing yearly mock inspections and CQC inspections, timely and accurate compliance reporting, effective internal audits, and continuous improvement in compliance performance across the company.
You will assume the roles of CQC Registered Manager / Nominated Individual (after your probation period) and ensure that these responsibilities are comprehensively met.

YOUR REPORTS:
Your Compliance team reports directly to you and includes 2 administrators carrying
out compliance and HR activity. It is your responsibility to ensure that their roles align with overall
compliance, fostering a collaborative culture, providing mentorship and support to drive excellence.
Duties
Regulatory Oversight
Lead all aspects of CQC regulation across the company. Ensure full compliance with inspections, requests, and applications for new regulations or changes.
Assume the roles of CQC Registered Manager / Nominated Individual (after your probation period) and ensure that these responsibilities are comprehensively met.
Documentation and Quality Management
Oversee the Document Control System to ensure all company documentation remains controlled, current, and compliant with regulations.
Manage the production, review, and updates of key documents, including policies, procedures, manuals, and the Quality Manual, to reflect evolving business needs.
Internal Audits, Risk Assessments and Performance Analysis
Lead internal audits, Risk Assessments, analyse reports, and ensure follow-up on outcomes to maintain continuous improvement in compliance performance across all sites.
Conduct root cause analysis for significant events and complaints, ensuring corrective actions are implemented and reported to the team.
Maintain Business Asset List ensuring that all equipment remains calibrated (where applicable)
Governance and Review
Enhance inter-team relationships and processes through training on compliance and quality-related activities, fostering a culture of continual improvement.
Maintain the Company’s Governance Framework, Management Review, Team & Clinical meetings
Robust external consultant and specialist GP checks to meet our Practicing Privileges policy
Human Resources meets CQC compliance
Facilities across all locations meet CQC compliance
Compliance Culture and Training
Develop and implement compliance training programs to ensure all staff are aware of and adhere to regulatory requirements, data protection and information security.
Foster a culture of compliance and ethical behaviour across the company, ensuring alignment with legal standards and best practices.
Ensure all computer systems and data remain secure and serve as the first point of contact for individuals regarding data processing concerns.
Ensure compliance with the Data Protection Act and GDPR, advising staff on Information Governance requirements and monitoring via internal audits.
Provide training for staff involved in data processing, managing internal data protection activities, and acting as the Data Controller.

Strong knowledge of CQC legislation and guidance
