JOB TITLE: Ward Manager
LOCATION: Brighton
SALARY: £52,000
Our client provides a Tier 4 CAMHS inpatient service supporting young people aged 12–18 with eating disorders or eating difficulties, alongside co-morbid mental health conditions such as anxiety, OCD, depression, or self-harm.

What You Will Be Doing
You will lead the nursing team to provide safe, high-quality care to individuals with Mental Health needs, promoting teamwork and supporting daily operations.
Key responsibilities include:
• Providing clinical leadership and expertise
• Leading and guiding the team to maintain a unified, engaged workforce
• Ensuring high standards of care within a Clinical Governance framework
• Supervising and utilising nursing staff effectively
• Acting as a key resource for specialist nursing care
• Supporting multidisciplinary teamwork
• Creating a positive, collaborative environment for staff development and wellbeing
• Taking charge of the ward when designated
• Supporting on-call duties and assisting with ward budget management
What You Will Need
• Relevant nursing qualification
• NMC registration
• A positive, compassionate approach
• Commitment to high-quality, evidence-based practice
• Experience in a similar environment
• Proven leadership skills
