Job Summary
Salary:
£12.60 per hour (Days)
£13.60 per hour (Nights)
Work Pattern:
Day Shifts: 8am–8pm (long-day), 8am–2pm (morning), 2pm–8pm (afternoon)
Night Shifts: 8pm–8am
Early Bird / Twilight Shifts:
6am–12pm / 5pm–10pm

Job Description:
Join a warm, family-run care home in central Dorchester providing residential and respite care for up to 22 residents. As a Care Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting residents' day-to-day needs with compassion, respect, and professionalism.
You'll be part of a close-knit team led by a supportive manager in a homely environment where creativity, connection, and community are at the heart of daily life. From personal care to companionship, your work will help residents live with dignity and joy.
Experience
Requirements:
Experience in a similar care role
Compassionate and empathetic approach
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Basic knowledge of health & safety and infection control
Able to work independently and collaboratively
Flexible availability, including weekends
Willing to undergo a DBS check
Aged 18 or over (due to nature of role)
