Job Summary
JOB TITLE: Consultant Psychiatrist
LOCATION: Surrey
SALARY: £105,504 – £139,882 per annum + £149 fringe allowance
Recruitment Bonus: £25,000 (subject to policy)
Relocation Allowance: Up to £8,000 (subject to policy)
We are supporting a leading NHS mental health provider to recruit a Consultant Psychiatrist for a 16-bed female general adult inpatient ward in Surrey. The successful candidate will provide clinical leadership, psychiatric care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team within a brand-new, state-of-the-art mental health facility. The role offers a generous recruitment bonus, relocation support, and visa sponsorship.
Experience
Requirements
MBBS or equivalent recognised medical qualification
Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
Section 12 MHA approval (or achievable within 6–12 months)
Included on the GMC Specialist Register (or within six months)
Broad experience in adult psychiatry (inpatient and/or community)
Eligibility to work in the UK (visa sponsorship available)
Enhanced DBS clearance
